VT Group conducted a food drive at Sakae VT Building, Nagoya City, Aichi, from October 10 to 14, 2022.
The 82 food items (28 kg) collected during the period of the event were donated to Second Harvest Nagoya, a non-profit organization, through the City of Nagoya, and will then be provided to those in need. This initiative was one of the ideas proposed by Sustainability Committee to the board of directors in March 2022 and was realized under the initiative of employees. We will continue to contribute to the development of the local community through collaboration of all group employees to promote SDGs activities.
This initiative will be posted on the City of Nagoya website. For details, please refer to the City of Nagoya website (external link).
※Food drive are activities in which households bring in surplus foods and deliver them to food bank groups or local welfare facilities.
